of "Richard T. Thurman (b c1650-1680 and d1710 in Hanover Co, VA) and his wife
Mary Brooks (who d. c1715 Hanover Co, VA) and their five children.
Source: "Thurman Family History" bu Sybil Davis Griggs. 17 Jun 99. Richard and
Mary lived in Goochland CO., VA and had land patents there in 1637 & 1638. In
1704 Richard was paying rent to the Queen of England on 131.5 acres of land.
Some reports say he died here instead of Hanover Co., VA.
