Giles Eyre, baptized 10 February 1607. He was a member of Parliament for Downton in 1660. He married Anne Norton, daughter of Sir Richard Norton, of Rotherfield. Sir Richard Norton was a friend and associate of Oliver Cromwell. Giles succeedded his father in ownership of the Brickworth property.
