11th. MARK ANDREW FRIEND USAF Veteran and currently a Leadman Aircraft Mechanic, working on Military Aircraft Programs.  Had 2 children.
10th. THOMAS EDWARD FRIEND (My Father) USN Veteran and also a USMC Veteran and Korean War Veteran. Was a Forman in the Underground Coal Mines. At the age of 55 he retired and is doing quite well.  Had 2 children.
9th. DANIEL FRENCH FRIEND Born April 23, 1906 Died 1963 (Grandfather). Occupation was a Heavy Equipment Operater in the Coal Fields of Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Buried at Simpson Cemetery, in Grafton,Taylor County, West Virginia.  Had 6 children.
8th. SAMPSON FRIEND Born September 29, 1872 Died January 30, 1954 (Great, Grandfather). Occupation was a Stone Mason.  Buried in Smithfield Cemetery, Fayette County, Western Pennsylvania. His wife (Mary Evens) Born February, 23, 1877. Died in March 10, 1961.  Had 6 children.
7th. JAMES ALEXANDER FRIEND Born 1851. Died March 2, 1911. Occupation was a Carpenter and a Farmer. Lived in Braxton County, West Virginia. Buried at Erbacon Community Cemetery in Webster County, West Virginia which is near the County Line of Braxton County not far from where he lived.  Had 10 children.
6th. GEORGE WASHINGTON FRIEND Born 1820 Died possibly around 1890 to 1892. He had a Grandson named after him born February of 1891.  He is listed in the 1880 Census Records and was not listed in the 1900 Census Records.  The 1890 Census Records were destroyed in a fire. Occupation was a Farmer. During the Civil War years, West Virginia subsided from Virginia in 1863 and became a State of the Union siding with the North.  Lived in Braxton County, West Virginia.  Had 9 children.
5th. ISRAEL JAMES FRIEND Born 1783 in Rockingham County, Virginia. Died 1856 in Virginia. Occupation was a Farmer. Lived in Braxton County,Virginia.  Had 7 children.
4th. JACOB FRIEND Born 1731 and Died 1817 in Pendleton County, Virginia. Certified by the Sons & Daughters of the American Revolution War in 1942 and 1997.  Had 11 children.
3rd. ISRAEL F. FRIEND Born 1693 Died 1753 near, what is now known as Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. Well known Indian Trader and Interpreter and Frontiersman.  Israel Friend was named Ambassador to the Indians by the Lord Baltimore in 1725.  Had 6 children.
2nd. ANDERS (Andrew) NILSSON FRIEND Born 1659 Died 1748 in Harpers Ferry, Jefferson County, Virginia.  Andrew Friend was appointed Tax Collecter for Chester, Eastern Pennsylvania in October of 1689.  Had 6 children.
1st. NICHOLAS FRIEND (Niles Larsson) Frande Born about 1620 Died 1686. Our Forefather came from Sweden and landed in Chester, Eastern Pennsylvania in 1648.  Had 10 to 13 children.

Description: Today I married my Sweetheart. A little about Beth, she is from the Buffalo, New York area, she is also a registered nurse. There's much more I could write but this will have to do for now. Thought I would share this moment with all of my family here on the site.
