Notes for Judith Cynthia Keith
Samuel Courier Roberts and Judith Cynthia Keith were descendents of families who came from the Midlands and East Anglia counties of England, like the majority of Puritans who settled in New England. A few, like Rev. James Keith, came from Scotland and others, like Giles Roberts, probably came from Wales.

We traced several of Samuel and Judith’s family lines and found the following who came to New England between 1630 and 1660:

Giles Roberts, Godfrey Sheldon, Alice Frost, John Brooks, Eunice Mousall, Thomas Pierce, Rachael Bacon, Samuel Currier, Thomas and Ann Hardy, John Bailey, John Bailey Jr, Eleanor Emery, Deacon Samuel Edson, Susanna Orcutt, Rev. James Keith, John and Grace French, Gregory and Katherine Belcher, Roger Billings, Richard Gale, Mary Castle, Nathan and Susanna Fiske, George Parkhurst, George Pankhurst Jr, Abraham and Lydia Browne, Edward and Rebecca Garfield, Edward Garfield Jr, Thomas Dwinell.

The connection of these immigrants to Samuel and Judith is summarized in the sections which follow.
