Frances was a school teacher in Kentville, NS. In 1900 she resigned and went to the US. Later she joined the “Sisters of Charity. A highly educated woman, she entered the convent July 19, 1905. As Sister Xavier, she taught Science at the Acadamy of the Assumption, in Wellsley Hills, MA.
