Timothy Ayer, born 2 October 1659. On 24 November 1682 at Haverhill, Massachusetts, he married Ruth Johnson of Hampton, Massachusetts. Ruth was the daughter of Peter Johnson, who was born in Winnecunnet, New Hampshire. She was born 13 July 1666 at Hampton, New Hampshire. Timothy died 14 August 1689 at Haverhill. His widow married (second) Samuel Dow on 5 May 1691, she died 25 July 1751.175
