KENTVILLE - Charles Huntley, 64, of Scott's Bay, died Tuesday at Blanchard Fraser Memorial Hospital, Kentville.
He was born at Scott's Bay, son of the late Everett and Zelma (Sanford) Huntley. He farmed most of his life in the Scott's Bay area.
Surviving besides his wife, the former Mary Rogers, are four daughters, Juanita (Mrs. Donald Rockwell), Hantsport; Julie, at home; Connie (Mrs. Ira F. Legge), Blomidon; and Wilma (Mrs. Grant Tupper), Centreville; six sons, Roger, Walter, Byron, and Clinton, all of Scott's Bay; Forest, at home, and Oscar, Hall's harbor; 11 grandchildren; five sisters, Minnie (Mrs. Ralph Fraser), Sheffield Mills; Annette (Mrs. Howard McCumber), in Pereaux; Lois (Mrs. Russell MacDonald), Blomidon; Pauline (Mrs. Ivor Price), Canning, and Isabel (Mrs. Cyril Steele), Scotts Bay; and six brothers, Vernon, Wolfville; Stanley, Glendon, Earl, Walter, and Paul all of Scott's Bay.
The body is at H.C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel, Kentville. Funeral service will be held today at 3:30 p.m. in Scott's Bay United Church. Lic. Wayne Wright will officiate assisted by Rev. H. W. Thomas. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Donations may be made to the Canadian Heart Foundation.
