Subject: Edward Fitzrandolph and Elizabeth Blossom
Date: Sun, 4 May 2003 19:48:09 -0400

I came upon your genealogy when surfing the web for information about some of my ancestors -- Edward FitzRandolph and Elizabeth Blossom. I note that you are descended from their son Joseph. I am descended from Thomas.

My father researched the family genealogy back in the 1970's. He found the FitzRandolphs had 12 children: another John, born in 1652, who died in infancy, and Elizabeth, born in 1657. My ancestors eventually dropped the "Fitz" part of their name. Immediately after the Revolutionary War, some of them emigrated with their entire church membership from northern New Jersey to Western Virginia. They were among pioneers in that area who helped to build numerous towns and villages.

My father (whose grandmother was a Randolph) took his information mostly from church records I believe, including the information about the family in New Jersey. He notes that Edward F. Fitzrandolph was the first FitzRandolph in America; he was a yoeman or farmer. He lived in Scituate, north of the town of Plymouth, where he built a house in 1636. He moved to Barnstable on Cape Cod in 1639, where records show he was a juryman. He is listed as one of those able to bear arms in New Plymouth in 1643. He sold his house and then moved to West Barstable in about 1649. In 1669 he moved his family to Piscataway. New Jersey.

I got interested in learning more about these particular ancestors because I moved to Carver, MA, about 2 years ago. We now attend the "Church of the Pilgrimage" in Plymouth, which claims a history back to the original church in Plymouth. The present minister there has, I understand, written a history of that early church.

From what I know about my own family history, I believe that the FitzRandolphs may have moved to New Jersey for more religious freedom. Some of their children and grandchildren became baptists and then sabbatarians (worshiped on the 7th day). My father was able to get much of his information from the Seventh Day Baptist records.

If you have other information about these common ancestors, please let me know. (Also let me know of any corrections, if I have something wrong.) I hope I have told you something you did not already know. At present, I'm trying to locate more of my father's sources, since he did not notate where he found much of his information.

Steve --

I inadvertently emailed you from my husband's address -- please correct your notes -- I am the descendent of Edward FitzRandolph.

I will be sending you the information on the line from Thomas FitzRandolph and Elizabeth Manning when I have collated it a little further.

In studying the information from my father's charts, I see that both my parents are descended from Edward FitzRandolph through Thomas.

My family tree crosses several times!

In your notes you question whether Elizabeth Blossom was Dutch. It is my understanding that she was not. Her family were among the Puritans who did not conform to the Church of England and were persecuted. They moved to Holland for religious freedom and, from there, to Plymouth Colony. Elizabeth Blossom's father, Elder Thomas Blossom of the Plymouth church, died and her mother remarried. Her mother helped to found the church in Scituate, MA, just north of Plymouth. (My husband also had an ancestor, Eglin Hanford, who emigrated to Scituate in the 1630s). They have good records at their historical society, so I want to go there to see if they have much story. It takes about 20-25 minutes to drive there.

Where did your Randolph grandmother live? My Randolph ancestors still lived in Salem, West Virginia after Samuel FitzRandolph was one of the original pioneers to New Salem. I was born in Harrison County, WV, but haven't lived there as an adult.

Thanks for your input.

Hi Pat
I live in Gloucester Co. and am a member of the Historical Society that has this Mickleton Friend's House listed.
They are talking about the Society of Friend's (we now call them Quakers) Meeting House.
This was their "church" and has nothing to do with our Family. My wife's ancestor was the Mickle that created the Meeting House and is named for him - Samuel Mickle. Our ancestor John (Johannes Nilsson)
Friend, son of Nils Larsson, was a prominent member of that exact same area- he was appointed overseer of roads in 1714; tax collector in 1716; Justice of the Peace in 1716-1717 & 1720-1721; Judge or Justice on
the Gloucester Co. Court in 1717-1718. All of this was in Gloucester Co. Greenwich Township. By the way, Nils and 2 other Swedes originally bought the entire County from the indians, the English did not recognize this ownership.
Best regards, Ron Sjolander
P.S. My service will not let me copy all of the relatives
on our list in a message (trying to cut down spammers), rather than pick
off just a few, I just replied to you - so copy others if you see fit-

Sue and I are curious how her family is related to yours, so any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Also, my uncle has done extensive research on my side of the family and has records back many generations.

Thanks

Hi Steve,

It's good to hear from you.

My relation to the Schnarrs goes as follows:

I'm Jack Dale Duffy
my father is Jack Scott Duffy
his mother was Mamie Edna Scott
her mother was Mabel Anna Schnarr
her father was Philip Schnarr

I have been searching for the German church records for the births of
Philip, Anna Christine, and Adam Schnarr for many years without success.

In 1994, I hired Trudy Schenk, an accomplished German professional family
history researcher, who is also a native of Germany. She told me to check
many parishes where others with the "Schnarr" surname came from. I have so
far checked Altengronau, Bad Orb, Breunings, Elm, Fulda, Grebenau,
Hainzell-Fulda, Hessisch Lichtenau, Marjofl, M¸hldorf, Neuengronau,
Opperz-Fulda, Ramholz, Rauschenberg, Sannerz, Schl¸chtern, Schwarzenfels,
Steinarts, Steinau, Sterbfritz, and Wichte.

I also checked in Offenbach, the parish where people from M¸hlheim attended,
since my grandmother and Anna Christine Schnarr's obituary say Philip and
Anna Christine were born in M¸hlheim. There was no record of their births
there. Offenbach is about 5 miles west of M¸hlheim. Last week, I sent a
letter to Hanau, a parish about 6 miles east of M¸hlheim. I hope we figure
this out someday. I'd really like to get further back in Germany on the
Schnarrs.

Several sources say all three Schnarrs (Adam, Anna Christine, and Philip)
were born in Hesse Kassel, and M¸hlheim is not in Hesse Kassel. I'm very
perplexed.

Would you like me to send you a GEDCOM of what I have on the Schnarrs? I'd
be happy to do that.

Thanks again,
Jack

Hello,
I wandered onto your genealogy site, and I may be able to fill in some
blanks, though I still need to confirm the info. My great-grandmother was
Edith (walsh) HAM of Maine. You have a edith helen. I have Edith Allegra.
But, I wouldn't bet money on her middle name being Allegra. My Edith's
mother's name is written down as Mary O'conner Walsh. Edith married Albert
Wakefield Ham. They had 3 children
1- Marguerite M. m. Steele. (as of 1999 they reside in Greenbay, Wis)
2-Robert P. Ham m. Isabel Bennett (both deceased); my grandparents.
Robert & Isabel Ham have 5 children.
3-Ruth H. Ham m. Callanan ((deceased)
My father wrote down some family names years ago, and I have my grandfathers
lengthy & informative obituary. MY grandparents have both died, and I don't
speak to my father, so I have to find this stuff on my own. I don't really
speak to any of them either. But, I will try to confirm the information
about Edith. --Just in case you 're interested

Steve,
Here is the Davis family down to my great grandmother Mary (Libbie) Elizabeth Davis. From there the family tree goes on to my my greadfather Davis James Bullock and then to the Conkling family name. By the way, it sure was interesting to go back into the Drake family history.

Steve, if you happen to have any information regarding Thomas Davis Jr. , the son fo Thomas Davis Sr. and Mary Drake, I sure would be interested in hearing from you. It appears that Thomas Jr. may have died aboard the British prison ship "Old New Jersey" some time around 1780. There is a Thomas Davis listed as one of 8000 prisoners aboard the "Old New Jersey" and the tax records for Middlesex county for 1779 list a Mrs. Davis as a widow. Sure would like to tie every thing together with some better documentation.
Regards,
Dave Conkling

Hi James. My name is Terri Friend. I have been researching our family lineage and ran accross the information you posted on the web. I have been able to link the following individuals:
Nils Larsson Frande, Lars Nilsson, Johannes Nilsson, Nils Friend, John Lewis Friend Sr., Joseph Friend, Josiah Green Friend, Benjamin Franklin Friend, Alton Friend, Clarence Alton Friend, Stephen Alton Friend (my marriage), with Jeffery, Scott and Lisa Friend (my children) and Audrey Payton
Friend (my granddaughter, born 11/15/2000).

I think this is accurate. I got some information from another person and was basing my search on William H.H. Friend in her documents, but according to her records he is the son of Cornelius Ward Friend under John Lewis
Friend, Jr. The William H.H. Friend I needed was the son of Josiah Green Friend, brother to Benjamin Franklin Friend.

Well, now that you know a little about where I'm coming from, I'm hoping that you'll be able to help me. I've tried for some time to research the Friend family, but many closest to us have been rather closed-mouthed about their past. I now have an urgent need to find out as much as possible about medical histories. My granddaughter was born with congenital microcephaly. It is a very rare genetic condition. Our geneticist questioned our European ancestory, which I knew nothing about at the time. He wondered if we had a conection to Sweden, which as you know, we do. He won't say for sure if it is a recessive gene until we research medical histories. Microcephaly literally means small head. The problem is that Audrey was born with a severe small head and it isn't growing much at all. They've postponed doing cranial expansion surgery for now. We've been told she may not live to
be 3 years of age, and if she does, she could go blind, deaf, have seizures, and be mentally retarded (mild to severe). She already has early cerberal palsey and has worked with physical therapists since she was 4 months
old. I need as many medical histories or records as possible.

My sister-in-laws once told me that they remembered stories of a relative being kept in an attic. When they asked more, the subject was changed. They don't know who it was but just that it happened. Have you ever
heard anything like this or do you know of anyone who may have had epilepsy or mental retardation? Any help you could give us would be greatly apreciated. Thanks in advance.

This was posted on the Allegany County, Maryland Mailing List.
I thought it might be of interest to this group.Does anyone have this Jacob Friend in their database?

Jacob Friend Sr. 18 Sept. 1738 - 10 Feb. 1802. This tombstone is situated along the Conococheague Creek in Williamsport, Washington Co., MD. The cemetery book notes for this cemetery: other plain stones - most stones have been destroyed - this is the only stone with information listed.

Subject: [friendfamilyassociation] question about John Lewis Friend Jr &
Elizabeth Ward
Group,
I think I have an error in my work that needs a little help. It regards John Lewis Friend, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth Ward. I have their grandson, John H. Friend (son of Cornelius Ward & Sarah Kemp) marrying their granddaughter, Sivilla Savage (dau of John Savage and Karen Happuck Friend).
Is Cornelius Ward Friend and Karen Happuck Friend brother and sister? If this is true, my geat-grandfather Alpheus C. Friend (son of John H. and Savilla) has a set of great-grandparents on his mothers AND fathers side
who are the same people.
Can someone either confirm this or correct where I have made a mistake? I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Michael Fike

I am trying to help another researcher. We need to find Rebecca J. Friend, 1863-1906. Rebecca m. James O. Tuhill 1854-1917, both are buried in the Oakland (Maryland) cemetery. Rebecca also ties into the HASKELL family. We believe Henry Haskell's first wife, Lizzie Shaffer, may be the mother of Rebecca J. Friend (but we can't make the connection). Rebecca's obituary lists her as the daughter of Henry Haskell (adopted?) but the bio of James O. Tuhill says he married Rebecca J. Friend. Rebecca is listed in the 1880 Garrett Co. census, in the Haskell household but hired out as a servant to George Legge, merchant, Oakland. Her brother, Charles, (also possibly born Friend) is hired out as a servant of Stephan Friend, Sang Run, MD. Rebecca J. Friend and James O. Tuhill's children: Mary E. James R. 1894-1927 Julia M. Leona H. Marguertie 1990-1910 Charles Denton Does anyone recognize the connections between the Friend, Haskell, Shaffer lines? Henry Haskell's second wife was Elizabeth Spencer. I hope some of this rings a bell and we can solve the mystery of who Rebecca J. Friend's parents were. Many thanks, Pat (Friend) Thompson

Hi Paul,
What you've posted matches up with my files except I have decided to list the husband of Mary Jane Geary as:
"David H. (Hoye or Harrison?) Friend" because I'm still not sure what his middle name is.
I've seen it listed both ways! Can anyone tell us which is correct....Hoye or Harrison?

David H. (Hoye or Harrison) Friend b: Oct.14.1845 in Sang Run, Garrett Co.MD d: May.12.1928 Garrett Co. MD

Question on the line below. I haven't had a chance to study the line this
far back before, I have been playing catch up, so I may need some help. The
3rd generation below has Nicholas Friend II listed, and his father being
Johannes Nilsson.

I thought when someone was a II their father would be the first. Shouldn't
Nicholas father be Nicholas Friend I not Johannes?

Does this system work the same as Sr. and Jr.?

Sorry to do this but I have another question about below. The report below
shows Karen Happuck Hyatt marrying John Lewis Friend Sr. at age 9. Is this
correct?

I have an alternate birth year in my database as 1732.
Source:
Broderbund, Selected U.S./Internat'l Marriage Records, 1340-1980, "CD-ROM,"
Source Number: 4165.000
Source Type: Electronic Database
Number of Pages: 1
Submitter Code: CB1.

My alternate source would put her at 19. I know people married young but
age 9?

An insights into this?

Sorry, error on my part. The date of 1732 is in error after checking the
database again. I placed it with Karren instead of John.

But...that still leaves Karren being married at age 9? Could someone share
some source info or confirm this for me.

Thanks again,
Michael Fike

My descent from Nils Larsson goes through his son John (Johannes Nilsson in some records), Nils/Nicholas Friend (by 1697 the family was going by Friend), John Lewis Friend, John Lewis Friend, Jr., Cornelius Ward Friend, John H. Friend, Clarissa Elsie (or Elsie Clarissa- she went by Elsie) Friend m. to James Frazee, Alverta Sophia Frazee m. Tarleton Humberson, Edna Blanche Humberson m. Simon Russell Wright, Delores Elaine Wright m. Thomas Howard Shade. We have 2 sons, who are in the records at the Friend Museum/library, but their wives are not listed there yet, I believe. My eldest son, Thomas Howard Shade II and his wife Stephanie Santer Shade live in Wilmington, DE, and this has given me extra opportunities to do research in the area. Nils Larsson is on record as having married Anna in 1656, with the first child b. in 1657. Dr. Craig reports that his research shows that Governor Rising recorded on July 17, 1654 in his journal that baliffs Nils Larsson and Atude were being sent from Fort Christina to Long Island to accompany the return of English Settlers who had wrongfullysought to settle on the Delaware. Reference was made to Nils getting into a fracas, while on a trip, which postponed his upcoming marriage for 3 months.  An official letter dated August 9, 1656 states that Rev. Lock has ordered the postponement while he looks into the charges. All of the children were born after this date, which throws out the idea that Anna was the widow of an English Captain, who was the real father of the children. In Craig's 1988 work on Nils Larsson, he offers several possibilities of the parentage of Anna, but by 1993 he has become convinced that she was the daughter of Anders Andersson the Finn. By this time Craig had done extensive research in this country and in Sweden, where he was given access to the archives which included the records sent back from the colony in the 1600s. Dr. Craig is not just a genealogist; he is the foremost present day scholar of Swedish American History. You have undertaken a massive amount of work. I wish you luck with all you are doing. I am sorry that my computer skills are so slight that I cannot be of much help. Delores

Hi Steve,

Not much time tonight as it is already late, how are things going? I am swamped with work, family and FFAA. But I wanted to get a few more of these off to you. Hope you are doing well. Also the spelling of Rich's grandfather's name is a question. As you see it here Loyd, it might be Lloyd and the great-grandfather is Hanson. Rumor has it his father might have been a Henry. The spelling question I also need answered is it Tambolyn as my records handed down by word of mouth, or is the correct spelling Tamlen ? Either way it is the same man and is the person in Rich's family. Many of these family members were the dearest of people, I had just met Rich when Tambolyn passed away and so I never had the chance to talk with him, but he was reported to have been a wonderful man.

Thanks,
Shirley Z. Friend

Hi there Shirley,
It sure brought a smile to my face to read your post!
Am I right in thinking that your Loyd Tambolyn Friend is the s/o Rebecca C.
(Strader) and Hanson Friend?
My husband's paternal grandmother is Sarah Ellen (Friend) Fitzgerald, only sister to a "Tamlen" Friend.
If "Tamlen" and your Loyd Tambolyn are one in the same, then your husband is both my husband's 2nd cousin (on my father-in-law's side of the family) and 3rd cousin once removed (on my mother-in-law's side of the family). My mother-in-law's maiden name is Ruby Sines and she is a 2xgreat-granddaughter of Henry Sines, via his daughter Sarah Catherine "Kate" Friend, wife of David P. Sines and sister to Hanson Friend, making her your husband's 3rd cousin. Whew, would a mouthful!
I have so little information on Sarah Ellen (Friend) Fitzgerald's five brothers. If memory serves me right four of them, Coleman, Jasper, Elijah and Nathaniel, are buried in the Canaan cemetery with Sarah aren't they?
About all I have on "Tamlen" to date is what I'd read in a an old book written by C.B. Sines. It mentioned that "Tamlen" lived in Eden, WV., was in the dairy business at some point and he thought "Tamlen" and brother Elijah
had married sisters. If you think this is your husband's line, let me know. I'll be happy to exchange family info with you. My husband was born in Goshen, we try to visit there a couple times a year. I've been working on sorting the families out and getting the various old private and community cemeteries found/documented up there.
Bye for now,
Kathleen (Whiteing) Fitzgerald

Steve,
Are you from the Rockport area in Washington State? I found out that we may be related way back when. Our names are Gary and Donna Friend. Descendent of Nicholas m. Anna Andersdotter, John Friend m. Anna Coleman, Nicholas Friend II m. ?, John Friend III m Karren Happuck Hyatt, Joseph Friend m. Sarah Green, Andrew Coleman Friend m. Sarah Harden, Joab Friend m. Amy Sines, Cassius Norman Athenacious Friend m. Cornelia Sines, Gilbert Friend m. Lula Alice Dewitt, Alonzo Leeroy Friend m. Juanita Mae Halvorsen, then Gary Leeroy Friend m. Donna Marie Youngsman. That is our lineage which I have been working on. Gary and I went back to Friendsville in September of this year and have now discovered that Lula Alice Dewitt (Gary's grandmother) mother was a Friend so now I am tying that information together. That would take us to Elijah Friend.

Hope to hear from you. Donna Friend <mailto:dmfriend@gte.net>dmfriend@gte.net.

It's fun to see our branch of the tree up on the web--thanks for all the work you've done! If you like, I can keep supplying you with info as I get more; if you wish that I not send anything further, please let me know.

Dear Steve,
Hello. I was on the MyFamily site and read a posting
between you and Cammie Hengstberger. She has
contacted me in the past about Harry Gordon Friend.
He was a brother to my Great Grandfather Ward Elzie
Friend. Anyway, my question to you is do you know of
anyone else with connections to Connersville, Fayette
County, Indiana or Charlestown, Clark County, Indiana?
Also have you ever come across these two Friends, Evan
Friend born in abt 1858 in Virginia and William H.
Friend born in abt 1855 in West Virginia?
It seems that my great great grandfather Stewart
Franklin Friend was born in West Virginia in 1868 but
that is all that I know, I am trying to locate
information on possible parents for him. No luck with
birth or death records. Some of Stewart's siblings
were listed in an obituary as Hiram, James, Nelson,
Alonzo and a sister Alice. She married a Hyman.
Nothing has been found on them at all. With exception
to Alonzo, I have found very little.
Any advice or hints on where to turn would be greatly
appreciated. I am willing to share my information I'm
just really stuck.
As for my Cooke-Washburn connection. The site that
you directed Cammie to had a Frances Cooke listing and
it made me curious. Is this your genealogy? I am
related to Frances Cooke from the Mayflower. His
daughter Jane married Experience Mitchell, their
daughter Elizabeth married John Washburn, their son
Thomas, etc.
My supposed line is: (I have not documented this line
yet,
Frances Cooke
Jane Cooke- Experience Mitchell
Elizabeth Mitchell- John Washburn
Thomas Washburn
Thomas Washburn
Nathanial Washburn
Joseph Washburn
Jacob Washburn- Mary Polly Gordon
Martha Washburn- Noah Riggs
Ellen Belle Riggs- Fredrick McNeil
Sylvia Maye McNeil - James Earl Dabe
James Willard Dabe- Betty Abeyta
Catherine Frances Dabe- Jerry Ward Madlener
Stephanie Madlener- Nichols

My trouble starts with the Thomas' on down to
Nathaniel and Joseph, many have said that there is no
documentation that Nathanial connects to Thomas but
that it is very probable that he is the son of
Thomas???? Can you help explain any of this or share
advice on where to look more? I would be willing to
discuss more places and dates etc. There is a man
named Mark Washburne that has been helpful have you
ever contacted him?
Well alot of questions asked of you, I hope you are
not too confused and hopefully willing to help me out.
Thank you for your time.

Hi there!
My name is Sarah Lavery, I came across your website the other day. I believe I'm your 2nd cousin 2x removed (if I calculated that right!). I am the great-granddaughter of Frederick Clarence Johnson Sr and Alminda Parker. June Audrey Johnson is my grandmother.

I would love to exchange information on the family if you'd like. I have several pictures of June and 1 or 2 of Frederick, if you're interested.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi, Steve - thanks for writing back!
I have not yet had a chance to read your bio - I'll be sure to do that as soon as I get home from work. Your website is great! Good job!
I was born and raised in Shawnee, KS - my parents were from Lincoln...they went to Lincoln High, as a matter of fact, I think you may have gone to school with them! I cant remember exactly when they would have gone there, I think my dad graduated college at the University of Lincoln in '54...maybe.
The Johnsons are actually on my dad's side. It goes like this:
Fred C. Johnson married Alminda Parker
June A. Johnson married Howard A. Stotts
Darrel L. Stotts married Loretta J. Bullock
Sarah E. Stotts (ME!!) married Todd M. Lavery

I'm not really sure where to start! Would you like me to send a GEDCOm file?

Hi, Steve - here are the pictures I mentioned...I hope they're not too big for your mail server!
How would you like to exchange info? Should I send a gedcom file or text?

I read your bio on your website - I might have mentioned before, my dad (who's mom was June Johnson) attended Lincoln High and the University of Nebraska at Lincoln where he was in ROTC. He was born in January of 1935, so would have been a couple years behind you.

Hi everyone;

Richard Robert CROWE b. 1728 in Galway, Ireland and d. Jun 1821 in Horton Township, Kings Co., Nova Scotia, Canada. His parents were William CROWE (1693-1769) and Emilia Eyre EVANS (1695 - ?) Richard married ____________AYERS (???) and had three children:
William B. CROWE, Eyre Evans CROWE and Ezra CROWE.
My lineage from Richard Robert CROWE is:
Richard Robert CROWE (1728 - 1821)
William B. CROWE (1773 - 1854)
John Preston CROWE (1813 - ?)
George Albert CROWE (1843 - 1918)
Mary 'Belle' CROWE (1867 - 1913)
Mary Belle ROGERS (1913 - living)
Roger Everett Fales HUNTLEY (1937 - living)
Jerry Charles HUNTLEY (1970 )

I would be very interested in learning more about Richard Robert CROWE's ancestors and descendants and hope this mail list will help.

Hi Jerry

Welcome to the the list. Roots web has had a big hard drive failure lately so your message may not have gone to everyone.

I show basically the same info in your line and have attached a family history report which includes John Preston down to Mary "Belle". Note that I have her as Belle Mary, but I could be wrong. I did not have Mary Belle Rogers on down to you.

My ancestor is also William B but through his son William George then Joel Wilson.

We had a reunion last summer in Montreal. The next one will be in 2007, probably in Nebraska or Saskatchewan.

I usually have a web page posted with all my genealogy file but I changed providers and have not yet re-posted.

Looking forward to hearing from you again. Any info I have is yours for the asking!

HI Steve and Nancy-
Happy 2006!!
Received your Christmas newsletter. It is good to see that ewveryone has forgotten how to write newsy letters. I got an e-mail (actually two or three , from Gwen Watkins. She and I got our repective families updated to January 2006.Have you heard from any others? I'm going to e-mail Ph nad Bev maybe I can get their families also. How about yours? Are you planning on updating your web page? I don't have lots of time but would be happy to assist with my family's info.I've been keeping a 'back page' in the book for just that .
I noticed that you had an e-mail from Colleen (Turner Crowe) Mandry.Did you ever hear from her again to 'fill in the gaps'? I just e-mailed her just before Christmas and when I mentioned this to Gwen Watkins she told me Colleen had fallen on hard times since that e-mail. Any light on the subject?

But anyways,I was going over some of your stuff... using page 299 on my book: Find Theodore (RUSTY) Ayers. His daughter Kathryn (Kathy) Mary Ayers married Jason Blair GREENWOOD not Blair as you have shown. Kathy and Jason have one daughter born October 21, 2001, name: Arwen Kathryn Niamh Greenwood.

also Rusty's son- David Glenn Ayers married Vicki Lee Cain. SHE had a son from a previous time His name is Daniel Forest Gurnsey CAIN (born 1979) not Ayers. Daniel married March 31, 2001 to Valerie (do not know her surname) They have a daughter Katlynn CAIN born in 2000 (do not have the actual date). Hope this clears up  a bit of confusion.
