Martha Anne Vestal married Jack Halter. Last I saw Anne was in San Francisco many years ago.

My dad is Jay (Julius) Strobl, Jr., my brother Lewis Steven Strobl and I am Mary Victoria Strobl Mackey.

Here is a story about John Isaac Vestal who married Mary Ann Strobl:

" Jack was a Union Organizer in Sacremento, where he was attacked and left for dead. He was found alive and recovered in Arkansas. After his recovery he went back to Sacremento to his Union job, was again attacked and this time he was killed. This all happened soon after WWII.”

You might try to find Sarah Jane (Sally) Dankenbrink, daughter of Hattie Pearl Vestal. 20 years ago she lived in Houston, TX. Hattie Pearl was a Navy officer.

Also, you might try Ann (Tom) Nunnally Rucker, a distant cousin, 742 Lake Point Bluff, Clarkridge, AR 72623.
